This is a gentle exercise class that focuses on a Fun Total Body Workout to help you feel your best throughout your pregnancy journey. The moves can be adapted to suit your trimester to ensure that exercises are safe and effective.

Many women worry that exercise in pregnancy can hurt their baby but according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (ACOG) exercise is safe during pregnancy and provides a range of health benefits for mother and baby. These can include an easier delivery without the need for drugs and surgery. Exercise can help you achieve an ideal body weight for your pregnancy and avoid gestational diabetes.
Some benefits reported for babies whose mums exercised have been lighter leaner babies with better heart health and even better cognitive development in some studies. Most importantly exercise during pregnancy can just make you feel better!
Jennifer Patrick has been into strength training and exercise for over 25 years. During her pregnancy she realised there was not a lot of support for pregnant women who wanted to stay active.
She started her journey in the southern state of Alabama and completed her Masters in Exercise Science and Health from Auburn University at Montgomery. Her mission is to raise awareness around the benefits of pregnancy exercise and get women moving and nourishing their bodies before, during and after pregnancy.
